City Council meeting on Purgatory Park off-leash dogs
The Park Board approved (5-2) the existing Purgatory Park Master Plan with the addition of barriers/fencing along the east primary trail (to reduce unwanted dog interactions). This will be voted on at the 5/5 City Council meeting.
Please attend the City Council meeting (wear blue to show off-leash support).
Date: Monday, May 5th
Time: 6:00pm
Where: City Hall, 14600 Mtka Blvd, Minnetonka
The Park Board received a ton of emails supporting off-leash dogs before their vote last week. Your outreach most definitely swayed the outcome in our favor.
PLEASE EMAIL CITY COUNCIL and staff before the 5/5 meeting. Make your voice heard!
Urge the City Council to support the Purgatory Master Plan and expand off-leash dog access to more parks.
